What should I expect?

Many of Kim’s clients have described her as very soft spoken, calm and compassionate. When you work with Kim, you will feel her genuine interest that she takes to help you transform your life. She is very patient with her clients and views them from a completely non-judgmental perspective. She understands that everyone is working on something. And there are no situations that are better or worse than the next person. Everyone is working to improve something in their life and she is passionate about being on the journey of discovery and transformation with you!

The road to change can often be quick but can also take time, depending on how open you are to the process. How quickly you are able to accomplish your goal depends on you and is unique and different to each individual. Kim has found that the clients who were able to shift away from what they did not want to what they wanted instead were the clients who fully opened up to talk about their issue.

Sessions with Kim can either be done in person or over Zoom. When you select your pricing package, you can decide which method is right for you.

If you are a New Client

If you are a new client, you will begin with a free 30-minute consultation call by phone or over Zoom to discuss what you would like to accomplish. Kim will then determine if she is able to help you. If she feels she can help you and you want to move forward, you will be directed to her website in order to sign an agreement, select a package, make your payment and set up your first session date on the calendar. Returning clients can select a package, make the payment and schedule the session on the calendar.

During your session, Kim will check in with you and ask you what you want to accomplish in the session. It is best to create an intention before your call.

The first Zoom call with a new client is always a coaching session. Coaching calls involve talking about the issues and diving deeper into certain areas that become illuminated during the discussion. Kim may choose a process for you to try to further help your transformation. The goal of every session is to walk away with an awareness that you might not have had before beginning the session. This is the journey to self-discovery!

For Existing Client

If your sessions are scheduled to be over Zoom, you will receive an automatic email reminder with the Zoom login information. Please be prompt to the call. If you are 15 minutes late you will need to reschedule the call. Most calls typically last 2 hours. If there is no need to utilize the full 2 hours then the call will be less time.

Returning clients may have a coaching session or a hypnotherapy session. If a client is to experience a hypnotherapy session, there are some preparations that would be suggested to have the most optimal outcome.

  1. Be sure to have a reliable internet connection.
  2. Be sure to be in a place where you will be undisturbed with minimal amount of noise around you for the entire session.
  3. Have your computer or phone camera pointed on you.
  4. Wear a headset so you can easily hear the instructions and Kim can easily hear your responses.

What is Hypnotherapy?

KIM'S BACKGROUND

Kim Silverman is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist helping clients bypass their critical conscious mind to directly access their subconscious mind in order to obtain a desired outcome. When you bypass your critical mind, the results are often accelerated when compared to traditional therapy.

Even with hypnotherapy, you have free-will and can accept the new way of thinking or not. Your subconscious is always protecting you and you can NOT be hypnotized against your will. Your subconscious will not allow it! It is your gatekeeper.

Kim is not a doctor, licensed therapist, psychologist or psychotherapist. She is not licensed to diagnose illnesses or prescribe medications. She is, however, clinically trained to apply various hypnotherapy tools and techniques to achieve a desired transformational change.

A hypnotherapist uses a variety of tools to achieve a successful outcome. Kim is clinically certified to use the following tools:

  • Hypnotherapy Trance
  • Voice Dialogue
  • Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Hypnotherapy Trance Session

A hypnotherapy trance session often lasts about 2 hours.

  • The first 30 minutes are a discussion about what you want to achieve.
  • The actual hypnosis session is about an hour.
  • The last 30 minutes is a discussion about what was uncovered during the session.

A Hypnotherapy Trance session is best done while you are lying down or sitting in a chair.

You are guided into a relaxed state in order to gain access to your subconscious mind. 

This can take about 20 minutes to achieve, depending on your experience level with hypnosis.

You will feel awake, you are always in control, and you will remember what was discussed.

You can NOT be hypnotized against your will because your subconscious mind won’t allow that to happen.

When you embrace the process of hypnotherapy and gain access to your subconscious mind, 

you will achieve insights about yourself and about the prevailing issue.

When you are in a hypnotic trance, the power of suggestion and imagery is used to provide positive changes that work toward achieving your goal.

Voice Dialogue Session

The Voice Dialogue Method is a hypnotherapy method, created by Hal and Sidra Stone, that is used to speak to your sub-personalities that are within you and are often holding you back from changing your behaviors and beliefs.

Voice dialogue sessions are often conducted while you are awake in a conscious level, although it can also be done while in a hypnotic trance. This method is very effective in understanding what drives your behavior.


Examples of your common personalities are:

  • Pusher” that part of you pushing you to do more, be more.
  • Procrastinator” that part of you that puts off the task or deadline until later.
  • Perfectionist” that part of you that strives for everything to be perfect.
  • Pleaser” that part of you always trying to please others.
  • Rule Maker” that part of you that needs to follow the rules and pushes others to obey.
  • Criticizer” that part of you always find fault with yourself.
  • Judger” that part of you that is continually judging others and seeing their faults.

There are many others as this is just a list of a few.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Session

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a hypnotherapy tool that is done in a conscious waking state. Often it is done while standing or sitting and involves both physical actions combined with mental and emotional components to achieve a changed result.

NLP is a pseudoscientific approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California, United States, in the 1970s. NLP was developed to access the connection between neurological processes (neuro-), language (linguistic) and behavioral patterns learned through experience (programming), in order to change and achieve specific goals in life.

What is Life Coaching?

  • A life coach works to enable you to take control of your life and take action to steer it toward your goal.
  • A coach helps you gain a perspective about yourself by drawing out the answers from within you.
  • While a life coach might challenge you to think differently or consider a different perspective than you would normally consider, you must decide for yourself whether to take the advice or not.
  • As a new client, the first session with Kim Silverman is always a coaching session. This allows you to go into a deeper understanding of the prevailing issue at hand.
  • Coaching sessions with Kim may also be used intermittently during long-term hypnotherapy treatments.
  • Coaching sessions allow you to fully express yourself in a conscious state of mind.
  • Goal setting and processes are often used to help you transform various areas of your life.
  • Coaches may provide you with tools to use on your own or between sessions to continue your transformational journey.

What is Business Coaching?

Before Kim Silverman became a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist or Master Law of Attraction Coach, she enjoyed a 30+ year career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and held positions such as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Controller, Director of Finance, and Bookkeeper.

Kim also gained experience as an entrepreneur/business owner of a successful start-up business, focused on engineering consulting, that grew internationally.

Kim understands the intricacies of starting and running a business as well as working in small, medium and large corporations. Her extensive business experience and knowledge covers areas in Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, Legal and Operations.

A business coach is not an advisor. An advisor is a person hired for their expertise to provide a solution. A business coach is someone who helps guide you on a path that allows you to achieve your goal.

Kim has coached employees of companies as well as business owners to identify their ideal client, grow their revenue, expand their service offerings, extend their client base and improve business relationships. She has coached small business owners and entrepreneurs to achieve abundance, success, and financial prosperity in both their businesses and their personal lives.

Being an energy master allows you to shift your emotions away from what does not feel good to something that feels better. Kim has learned how to shift emotions that she is feeling in less than 30 seconds. Imagine feeling angry at someone and in 30 seconds shifting to an emotion of appreciation or gratitude for that same person?


Why not just stay mad at that person, talk to your friends, get them involved to take your side, build up your army of supporters, stew on the subject for days (or years) …holding onto that grudge?

Well, there is a universal law that kicks in and it is called “The Law of Attraction”. This law is in effect whether you believe it or not.

Humans are like magnets; we attract everything to us. This universe is an attraction-based universe, not an assertion-based universe. There are many universal laws in play, but the Law of Attraction will bring to you what you are giving out. Essentially “Like Attracts Like”.
